ABOUT

Welcome!

Sew Cute And Quirky is a Florida based company founded in 2016 by Brianna Roberts.  Sew Cute and Quirky designs and provides sewing patterns for sewing enthusiasts.  Choosing a pattern from our company provides you with detailed instructions and full color images.  Each pattern is designed by Brianna Roberts.  Brianna started sewing many years ago and realized she enjoyed it. She taught high school environmental science, physics and biology full time for many years, but now designs patterns and make bags that bring a smile to someone’s face. Carrying a cute or unique bag brightens everyone's day and we hope to brighten yours with a fun sewing pattern.

Brianna is a published pattern designer.  Her patterns have been published in Make Modern Magazine.   She also received an honorable mention for her bag as a first time entry in the 2019-2020 Hoffman Fabrics First Stitch Challenge.  Brianna's Miss Kitty zippered pouch won in the By Annie's Sew Pink campaign in week two and was featured in their October 2019 newsletter. Her patterns have been featured in Freespirit fabrics catalog and in QT Fabrics catalog. She is a 2021 Island Batik Ambassador.  Brianna's patterns can also be purchased at Brewer's Sewing and Supplies, E.E. Schenck and Annie's Publishing.

Brianna loves to design, make purses, bags, wallets, organizers and mostly items that can be functionally cute. She is inspired by travel, unique designs, vintage finds and fun fabrics.

Hi! I'm Brianna, pattern maker and bag designer.  I love fun and kitschy prints.  I use them like solids when making a bag.

My husband is my biggest supporter and I have a zany chihuahua who is my biggest fan and sewing sidekick.

You can find me sitting at my sewing machine stitching away.

I learned  how to sew many years ago.  I met three sisters who introduced me to the world of sewing.  I made a small wall quilt at the time and it was super wonky.

I never looked back and continued to sew.  It was from there where I caught the bug and could not stop sewing.
