It's that time of year again where the weather starts to get cooler and the gift giving season is upon us. It is a beautiful time of year and I love sewing during this time. I had an opportunity to use the Morris Mist line from Island Batik and designed by Sherry Shish.
The cool colors are so calming and relaxing to look at. I chose three shades of purple to make a tote bag that will be gifted and filled with goodies.
In making the bag, I chose one of my sewing patterns, The Walk About Tote has two inside pockets and the bag itself is quite roomy to put a bunch of goodies it. It sews up quickly too.
Tote bags are always a nice handmade gift to give and they are very versatile. As a gift they can be filled with things the person likes and enjoys.
